Spoken Word Artists & Poets

Our third year was perfection! We were awarded a grant from the Witter Brynner Foundation which allowed us to hire several poets. In addition to typewriter poet, Fiona Markis, who sat with each guest and typed up an original poem for each person, which is extraordinary in and of otself alone but each poem is truly beautiful. We will definitely be inviting Miss Fiona back again for a fabulous time!

In addition to a live musical performancr from a local teen talent, Alexandra, who wrote, played paino and sung her original music, we were thrileld to have her.

Lastly, our headline, Ciara Chantell, a spoken word artist from Philadelphia came to our red carpet event and performed amazingly. She won the hearts over of so many people.
